Took this at a show in Boston in October of 2016. Andy was a stunning guitarist.
Andy was the founding guitarist and co-lead vocalist Gang of Four, formed in Leeds in 1976. He produced a lot of dissimilar bands and remained active with Gang of Four until his death in February 2020 from Covid-19.
His guitar work was instantly identifiable and he seemed to guide the band's politically anxious approach. One of my favorites.
